Appointment booking by phone Every plan

Most callers do not want a message taken. They want a time. PhonePick looks at the calendar you already keep, offers only times that are free, and books one while the caller is still on the phone.

On every plan, from $75 a month. No contract, no setup fee.

What it does

Books real free times from the calendar you already keep, while the caller is still on the line.

Everything it cannot see for itself — a quote, a job outside your area, a party bigger than you take — becomes “someone will confirm”, because a promise a machine made is a complaint, not a job.

Only times that are free

It reads your Google, Apple or Outlook calendar to see when you are busy, and never offers a time you already have something in. Each booking lands back in your calendar.

Your rules, not its guesses

It only offers times inside your working hours. You can cap how many bookings it takes in a day, decide how soon is too soon — from straight away to three days' notice — and how far ahead it may go.

Call backs with a time on them

“Have someone ring me tomorrow at five” becomes a fifteen-minute appointment with the caller's name, number and what it is about. Call backs do not count towards your daily limit or block a slot.

Confirmed in writing

Booking confirmation texts are on every plan, so the caller has the day and the time before they have put the phone down.

Setting it up

How to switch it on

  1. Settings → Your calendar: paste your calendar's private address, so it can see when you are busy. Google, Apple and Outlook each have one.
  2. In the same place, press Show my calendar link and subscribe to it from your calendar, so every booking appears there too.
  3. Settings → Booking: switch booking on and set your hours, the daily limit, the notice you need and how far ahead it may book.

Being straight with you

What it will not do

It never books on top of something already in your calendar, and it never promises what it cannot see. Anything that needs a person — a price you have not written down, an unusual job, a booking outside your rules — is taken as a message or a call back for you to confirm.

Before you ask

What people ask about it

Which calendars does it work with?

Google Calendar, Apple (iCloud) Calendar and Outlook or Microsoft 365. It reads your calendar's private or published address to see when you are busy, and its bookings reach your calendar through a calendar link you subscribe to.

Can it take restaurant reservations?

Yes. Pick “Restaurant, café or bar” and it books tables instead of appointments. It asks how many people before it looks at times, reads the day, time and party size back before it books, and you set how many parties can start in the same half hour and the largest party it will book.

Does the caller have to speak English to book?

No. It answers in 85 languages and gets the job done in the caller's own, and what reaches you is in English.
