Who builds PhonePick

PhonePick answers the phone for small businesses whose owners cannot always get to it.

We build subscription software for small businesses that larger software companies have decided are not worth serving properly — one trade at a time, on one shared foundation. PhonePick is our third product. The other two are Estiquik, estimating and invoicing for renovation contractors, and Prodigy Suite, class management and tuition billing for dance studios.

What PhonePick is

An AI receptionist for a business phone. It answers calls the owner can't get to, takes a written message, books appointments against a real calendar, puts urgent callers through to a mobile, and texts callers back so they know they've been heard. Customers keep their existing number and phone system; PhonePick sits behind it.

It exists because the person who runs a small business is usually the person who cannot pick up the phone. They are up a ladder, mid-appointment, or teaching a class. A missed call is not an inconvenience for them — it is the job going to whoever answered.

How we build

PhonePick started as a feature inside Estiquik, answering phones for renovation contractors. It worked well enough that it became its own product, which is why the parts that matter — the guardrails, the booking logic, the minute accounting — were already in service before PhonePick had a name.

Three rules run through the product and are not configurable:

• It never claims to be a person. Businesses choose whether the disclosure is announced up front or given when asked. There is no third option.
• It never quotes a price. The only pricing it can say is the sentence the business wrote itself, repeated word for word.
• It never promises. It books times the calendar actually has. Everything else is "someone will confirm".
