PhonePick

What it's costing you

Do the sum on your own numbers

Most trades miss a third of their calls — on a roof, under a sink, driving. Move the sliders to whatever is true for you.

Nothing here is sent anywhere — the sum happens in your browser. It assumes PhonePick reaches every missed caller, which it does, and that they convert at the same rate as the ones you already speak to. Whether that holds is your call, not ours.

Where these numbers come from

The sum is yours — three figures you set. The default 30% close rate is not invented: published figures for the trades put the odds a missed caller would have booked at roughly 30%, against average tickets of about $340–$450 for plumbing and HVAC repair. Cost per lead runs about $45 in HVAC, $52 in plumbing and $79 in roofing, which is what makes a missed call expensive — you already paid to make the phone ring.

It assumes an answering service reaches every missed caller, which is what ours does, and that those callers convert like the ones you already speak to. Whether that second assumption holds for you is a judgement, not a fact, and it is why the panel also shows what a fifth of the recovery would be worth.

Nothing you type is sent anywhere. The arithmetic runs in your browser and there is no form to fill in.
