What it does
PhonePick speaks iCalendar, which is what Apple Calendar reads. Each appointment the receptionist books arrives as a normal invite you accept on your iPhone, iPad or Mac; you can also subscribe to a private PhonePick feed so every booking appears without you doing anything per visit.
Going the other way, PhonePick reads the public link of an iCloud calendar and treats everything on it as time it cannot offer.

Being straight with you
A public iCloud link is exactly that — a link anyone holding it can read. PhonePick only needs busy times, so if you would rather not publish a calendar, use a calendar with nothing private on it, or skip the inward half and rely on the hours and daily limits you set in PhonePick. As with Google, PhonePick never edits or deletes an event you made.

PhonePick reads your Google Calendar so it never offers a caller a time you are already busy, and every booking it makes lands back in it.
