A booking with money behind it is a booking that turns up. PhonePick books the time first, then says the deposit you set and texts a link the caller can pay before they have hung up.
On Operations, $149 a month, and Growth. No contract, no setup fee.
What it does
The payment runs on your own Stripe account, so the money lands in your balance and the receipt carries your name.
It agrees the time, then says the amount out loud, asks if they want the link and texts it. Nobody is asked for money before anything is agreed.
Checkout runs on the Stripe account you connect, so the money never goes through PhonePick, the receipt is yours, and so is the customer relationship.
A set amount, or a share of what a typical job is worth, for every booking — or a different deposit per service, or none.
It never takes a card number on a call. The link is the only way to pay.
Setting it up
Being straight with you
An unpaid deposit never cancels a booking. The time is held for as long as you set, the link stops working when the hold ends, and the booking is flagged as unpaid for you to decide. Cancelling is always a person's call. A call back is never charged for.
Before you ask
Straight into your own Stripe account. PhonePick is not the merchant: the receipt carries your name and a dispute is yours to answer, as with any other Stripe payment.
Nothing is cancelled. When the hold ends the link stops working and the booking is flagged as unpaid, so you can ring them or let it stand.
Yes, your own. You connect it once from Connections, and the same connection puts a pay link on invoice reminders.
