PhonePick

For pharmacies

An answering service for pharmacies with a queue at the counter

There is a queue at the counter and a phone ringing behind you. Half those calls are asking what time you close, and the other half needed a pharmacist ten minutes ago.

Live in about ten minutes. From $29 a month. No contract, no setup fee, cancel any time.

The number that matters

Most pharmacy calls are questions a recording could answer. The problem is the ones that are not, arriving in the same queue.

You can check that against your own week. Below is the same sum with your figures in it.

What it's costing you

Do the sum on your own numbers

Set to a typical job for this trade. Change it to whatever is true for you.

Nothing is sent anywhere — the sum happens in your browser. It assumes PhonePick reaches every missed caller, and that they convert like the ones you already speak to. Whether that holds is your call, not ours.

Get your number

What it does

Three things, on every call

It answers the easy half

Hours, address, whether you deliver, what you stock — without anyone leaving the counter.

It flags the rest

A caller who needs the pharmacist gets taken down properly and marked for a callback.

Every call written down

So you can see the pattern rather than guess at it.

Being straight with you

What it will not do on a pharmacy call

It answers general questions and takes a name and number for a callback. It does not take, transfer or refill a prescription, discuss a medication, or say anything about a specific patient — a pharmacist calls back for all of that. Calls are recorded and transcribed on our systems. PhonePick is not offered as a HIPAA- or PHIPA-compliant service and we do not sign a Business Associate Agreement, so it must not be used to collect patient health information.

Before you ask

Pharmacies ask these three

Can it take a refill request?

No. It will not take, transfer or refill a prescription. It takes a name and number and marks it for the pharmacist.

What can it actually answer?

Hours, address, whether you deliver, what you stock, and anything else you write down — which is most of the calls interrupting the counter.

Is it HIPAA compliant?

No, and we do not sign a Business Associate Agreement. It must not be used to collect patient health information.

Ten minutes to set up. You keep your number, and you can undo the whole thing with one dialled code.
