PhonePick

For dental practices

An answering service for dental practices, after hours and at lunch

Your front desk is at lunch, or on the other line, or gone home. The calls that fall through are disproportionately new patients — the ones you spent money to get.

Live in about ten minutes. From $29 a month. No contract, no setup fee, cancel any time.

The number that matters

A new patient is worth years of recall visits. A voicemail at 5:40pm on a Friday is a patient who books somewhere else on Monday.

You can check that against your own week. Below is the same sum with your figures in it.

What it's costing you

Do the sum on your own numbers

Set to a typical job for this trade. Change it to whatever is true for you.

Nothing is sent anywhere — the sum happens in your browser. It assumes PhonePick reaches every missed caller, and that they convert like the ones you already speak to. Whether that holds is your call, not ours.

Get your number

What it does

Three things, on every call

It answers after hours

Evenings and weekends, when a new patient is actually free to ring around.

It books into your calendar

The slot lengths you set, never double-booked.

It texts them back

So they have your number in their phone before they ring anyone else.

Being straight with you

What it will not do on a patient call

It books appointments, gives your hours and directions, and takes a name and a number for a callback. It does not discuss symptoms, treatment or anything from a chart, and it will not tell a caller whether something is urgent — a person calls them back for that. Calls are recorded and transcribed on our systems. PhonePick is not offered as a HIPAA- or PHIPA-compliant service and we do not sign a Business Associate Agreement, so it must not be used to collect patient health information.

Before you ask

Dental practices ask these three

Can it book a new patient after hours?

Yes, and that is where most of the value is — a new patient rings around at 6pm, and the practice that answers gets them.

Will it discuss symptoms?

No. It books, gives hours and directions, and takes a name and number for a callback. Anything clinical waits for a person.

Is it HIPAA compliant?

No, and we will not say otherwise. We do not sign a Business Associate Agreement, and calls are recorded and transcribed on our systems. Use it for scheduling and callbacks, not for patient health information.
