The receipt is the record. Text a photo of it to your PhonePick number from your own phone, and it is read, filed with the picture, and ready for your bookkeeper at the end of the month.

What it does
A text comes back with the total, the tax and the net, and the receipt is on your Expenses page with its photo.
The tax it records is the tax printed on the receipt. It never applies a rate, because claiming tax that is not on the receipt is the mistake that costs you. Anything it is unsure of is marked for you to check.
Your own phone always works. Add the phones of the people who buy things for the business, and their receipts are filed as well. A customer's photo is an ordinary inbox message, never your expense.
Download the month as a CSV. Adding one by hand? Attach a photo or a PDF and it fills in the amounts for you to check before you save.

Being straight with you
It is a flat list of expenses, not accounting software: no job costing, no bank feeds, no tax returns. Photos are kept shrunk, with the GPS location removed, and every one can be viewed and downloaded.
Before you ask
Yes. iPhone photos are converted and read like any other, and a PDF receipt works too.
Then the tax is not guessed. If a subtotal is printed, the difference is recorded and marked as worked out, for you to check; if not, it is marked unknown.
Yes. Every receipt's photo is kept with the record and can be viewed and downloaded.
