Hear it call out
Six calls PhonePick places for a business: a missed call returned, a call-back someone asked for, a reminder, a confirmation. The people answering are AI actors; every word the assistant says was generated by PhonePick.
This is a demo call. The person answering is an AI actor. Every word the assistant says was generated by PhonePick.
They are not recordings of phone calls. Each business is made up, and its hours, services, prices and diary are ordinary PhonePick settings — the same ones you fill in for yours. So is the reason for each call: a missed call, a call-back someone asked for, an appointment coming up. The person answering is an AI actor playing a part we wrote.
The assistant is PhonePick itself: the same opening line, calling rules, booking rules and availability checks that place real calls, working from that business’s settings. Nothing it said was edited, cut or reordered.
Both sides were then voiced in studio quality, the assistant in one of the voices you can choose for your own line. Each call starts with the ring the business side hears. The pauses between turns were set by us — about a second before the assistant answers, a little longer while it checks the diary — not measured from a phone line. “As they hear it” plays the same call narrowed to phone-line quality.
Only calls people who agreed
It rings back a missed call, calls when someone asked to be called, and reminds people about their own appointments. On Growth it also makes sales calls, to people who asked through your website form or agreed in writing. Before every call it checks it has that reason on record.
The first thing anyone hears is its name, that it’s an AI assistant, and which business it’s calling for. On calls it places there is no setting that turns that off.
Calling someone by name, it checks it’s them before saying why. If someone else picks up, it asks them to pass on that the business called — and nothing more.
“Stop calling” puts that number on your do-not-call list during the call, and every call still waiting for it is cancelled. It doesn’t argue or ask why.
Weekdays 9am to 8pm and Saturdays 10 to 6, in the time zone of the phone it’s calling — never Sundays or national holidays. Your own calling hours can narrow that, never widen it.
Sales calls, on Growth, keep all four rules and add one. Nobody is rung about a sale without a consent record for that person: when they agreed, the words they agreed to, and where. You confirm it for every list you add, and a row without one is turned away. They aren’t for cold calling, and bought or scraped lists aren’t allowed. A sales call also says how to opt out straight after saying who it is, and never leaves a voicemail.
Every call on this page is a demo. The businesses are made up and the people answering are AI actors; what the assistant says is exactly what PhonePick produced. The six are the everyday kinds of call; there is no sales-call demo here yet.
